PUEBLO - Sea Landscape Quilt by Mrs. Moo
We will be working on "Under the Sea Landscape". This project is all hand work, easy and simple hand stitches. Techniques: fabrics textures and fiber.
Supply list:
NO SEWING MACHINE
Thread:
Cotton or beading thread (off white or light grey)
Pearl Cotton size 5 and 8
Needle: hand sharp and embroidery
Beads: variety of colors, sizes and shapes
Sharp Scissors and straight pins
Fabric:
1 piece 14 1/2 x 16 1/2 Fabric for background
1 piece 14 1/2 x 16 1/2" Woven fusible interfacing
1 piece each 6" x 9", 6" x 18" and 4" x 20" for under the sea floor
Backing, batting and binding (don't need this for class #1)
Different fibers: yarn, Sari Silk yarn, silk strip, tulle (light blue), hand-dye fabric and velvet strip and more.
*If you would like a kit for fibers is $20. Please pay cash in class. Kit included: All fibers, pearl cotton and some beads.
