Bowlies Class

People young and old have been admiring this bowl for months.  We've seen little children wear it on their heads as they shop, we've answered thousands of questions of, "when, oh when can we learn how to create this fantastic specimen?"  The wait is FINALLY over!  Join Christine on Saturday, January 17th and make some of these wonderful "Bowlies" yourself!  You'll be SO glad you did!!



SUPPLY LIST

Bowlies Pattern by Saginaw St Quilts
Sewing Machine in good working order (and know how to use) with the foot for both straight and zig zag stitching, power cord, foot controller
Wool Pressing mat and pins (for making template)
Sharp Scissors
Marking pen(s)
Thread to coordinate with fabric and white for the bowl base
Fabric glue stick
Peltex 1 (Pellon 71-F) for bowl base, 14" square is needed for the Large 12" finished bowl (see sample), 10" square for the Small 8" finished bowl.  See pattern for other sizes.
Freezer paper for template
Fabric of choice for bottom of bowl (use the same measurement for the bowl size you choose.)
Choose a mix of fabrics that blend well and compliment one another for inside or another piece the same size you are using for the bottom of bowl.
