Beginner Rope Bowl Class
Join Christine for an afternoon of fun, making the ever popular Rope Bowl.
Supplies:
- Sewing machine in good working order - power cord and foot pedal
- Open Toe Foot
- Denim needle for sewing machine
- Scissors
- Coordinating thread
- Rope from Walmart "hyper tough diamond braided cotton clothes line in natural color 3/16 inch x 100 ft - may have to order on-line.
- At least 8 fabric strips 3/4 inch by WOF for raw edge wrapping or 1 inch by WOF with 1/4 inch folded in and pressed for folded edge wrapping. Bring extra fabric to cut, if needed.
- 6 pieces of fabric to coordinate with fabric bowl, cut in 4 inch circles
- Fabric with a design for the center of the bowl (if you plan on a 4 inch bottom, then cut the fabric 5 inch in diameter.
- Decorative buttons 1/2 inch or larger
- Fabric glue or glue gun
- Hand sewing needle
