Pattern – Holiday Lights by Alex Anderson
Assorted greens (or multicolor) fabrics for trees – see pattern for yardage amounts
Scraps should be at least 5 x 18 or 5 x 40
Assorted background colors totaling 2 ¾ yard – scraps work great but must be at least 5 x 18 or 5 x 40
Tree trunks – mix em’ up! Strips or squares 2 inches wide
Lights – assorted scraps 2 ½ inches square
Cord applique – see pattern

Quilter’s Magic Wand
Basic Sewing Supplies
6 x12 or 6 x24 (or larger) rulers
Rotary cutter
Rotating cutting mat if you have one – these are very helpful for the trimming step
Marking pencil – white if you have dark fabrics
Sewing machine with a ¼ inch foot in good working order – don’t forget your foot pedal and power cord!
Neutral thread for piecing
Scissors
